I've followed all the steps for
this post in my 2012 F30. It has the CIC not the NBT system.
I've downloaded the map I need (
Aus/NZ PREMIUM 2020 maps) and have put them onto the USB drive, and then plugged it into the glovebox.
The current map loaded in the car is Road Map Japan PREMIUM 2016. The version number at the top says 08.00.2000.
After a couple of minutes, there is no prompt to update the map version to even get to entering the FSC code that I generated.
I've unzipped, and put the config.nfm and pkgdb folder in the root of the USB as per all the instructions I've read.
Is there something I'm doing wrong, or something else I can do to get the CIC to register that there is a map update available on the USB?
