The question was in regards to replacing pre-LCI tails with LCI ones, but it would include any incadescent or halogen bulb, in pretty much any model year.
it depends on the year because of the FRM NFRM FRM3 etc module. for pre-lci thinking it's 2007 and under which are halogen, your easiest option is to disable check control, cold monitoring and hot monitoring,for all bulbs in the rear end. you have to do it the long way around if it's a FRM. And if I'm not mistaken, FRM 2 and FRM3 modules have the lci taillight option already. the amount of resistors you would have to get at 8 to 15 bucks a piece, and wiring them in is a lot. your better off spending the money on a k/dcan cable and getting into ncs expert and ncs dummy which would open doors for other things also.
