i did not limit my search to an IS. But finding a manual transmission 335i (coupe or sedan) that has not been molested and modded is almost impossible. so when i found this one owner 335is that has never been modded with low miles i jumped on it. i agree that the 335is doesn't command any big premium over a regular 335i, except for the fact that the 335is continued to use the N54
