I took the evolve map off before taking it in for the software upgrade, I assume that I can reload the evolve map with my switch now or will the software update be wiped off if I do this? p.s. I had forgotten how much difference there was till I drove home with it set to the stock map!

Try and reload it. If it doesn't then you will have to read the ECU data again and send it to us for retuning.
