Well I put the regular 'i' sport springs on my. I think there was a small drop. Some of this will depend on which 'D numbers' you use. I used 'D5' front and 'D3' rear. Front is still a little higher than rear, but not too bad. These are widely available used -- which is how I got mine.
I originally put Bilstein B8's on 4 corners -- which helped on the 'crashing' but rode quite firmly. A few years later I swapped out the front's for Koni yellows which gave a more compliant ride. I'm pretty happy with the way it is now. I do recommend using Z4m bumpstops on the Konis (Bilsteins don't need bumpstops). Also I'd replace the shock mounts as well. I used the Dinan rear mounts.
Finally I'd recommend monitoring the tire pressure. When the oil change place overfills the tires -- I can feel it. 33/37 is as high as I'd go -- and this is with non-RFTs.
