Yes, and plenty of cars done at the dealer still lock up. In my opinion, that's a band aid fix to a problem that we're not even sure what causes.

Again, that's my opinion. There is no guarantee regardless of what you do that your engine will not seize. This is what worked for me, YMMV.
IMO, move to LL01 FE oils contribute to this too. But that is my opinion.
Dealerships are using last several years strictly FE oils and that is when all this started.
