I converted. Didn't do it "properly" per say but I got it to work without problems.

Here's what I did
1: Acquired headlights
2: Wired just the low beams. Required one wire tap inside the headlight.
3: Had the car coded.

Worked fine for the time I had it. I didn't bother with wiring the high beams in the xenons but they still worked on the inner lights which didn't help too much because the inner lights were only designed for DRL but it was still better than nothing.

Having the FRM2 or 3 module just gives you the ability to have welcome lights if I'm not mistaken so it's not a big deal to have it or not.

Also the headlights will not go to the lowest position if you don't have the auto leveling. They will just stay in the last position they were left at. Still perfectly functional.
