I enquired at the dealership today about the process and cost of the maps update on a Business Edition (2009) car. Trust you are sitting down.
My understanding is that with the business edition models, the update is done through the glovebox USB rather than the CD (there is only a single slot and no DVD)
Total cost to update the maps is £320
This comprises, £60 for a USB with the maps update on
£160 for the required activation code
Rest is labour charge (1/2 to 1 hour)
They are not able to confirm if I would have Postcode search options following the update.
Looks like I will be keeping the TomTom for a little longer.
