hey diesel folks - trying to compare to the Benz D
Hey guys, first and foremost I still own the bimmer so I am entitled to post on this page lol
Picked up the GL350 bluetec, If you guys have comparison questions I can look into and let you know .. First impressions, the car definitely has more low end torque, that vehicle is a 7k pounder and it doesnt make it feel sluggish .. second thing I noticed it gives better mpg than the bimmer did, I got 28 on the highway with the alphabet soup still in place ... gear shift are slow, ride is weird (airmatic is confused, does damp the potholes but sometimes thrashes passengers around, I heard its due to sway bars..)
lol thats all I have experienced so far ..
Now is there anyone that can advise if tuning on this engine OM642 is as viable as it is on our cars, there's definitely no forum support for that car so I've to lurke on here for some stuff ...
