Very easy to take off and inspect so worth a try before spending big money. Mine is on 130,000 miles.

Cleaning out intake manifold is a shout too as mentioned. Makes a considerable difference and cleaning the throttle while it's off is good too.
Seems to have fixed the issue for me after a quick test drive. Was like a tenner from local dealer. Have a quick check of the intercooler pipes I reckon. At least then you can eliminate it if yours is fine
