Coolant dripping from bottom of expansion tank when cap removed?

Hi All,

So I have a small coolant leak and today I decided to clean all the blue spots up from dried coolant, but I loosened the cap slightly and seen coolant dripping from the bottom of the tank. I screwed the cap back in place and looked all over the top of the expansion tank but it wasnt wet.. So I tested it again and it seemed to time right, as I loosened the cap and heard the pressure release coolant was dripping at the bottom.. But of course this would happen if coolant escaped out the side of the cap and ran down the expansion tank but I'm 99.9% sure there was no trace what so ever of coolant coming from the top. Is it possible that's Theres a small crack and unscrewing the coolant cap increases pressure? I need to let the phone charge to use the flash to see what the bottom looks like but was wondering if anything made sense?
