Dilema over wheels
Hi Folks,
Recently bought a 58 plate 320i m sport. Had the car a week when I phoned my local BMW garage to ask if the car had any outstanding recalls well good call as they said yes it had a coil pack recall. So in I went got four coil packs free thought great when he said they do a safety check on all cars and that I had a cracked rear wheel at the cost of £534 inclusive of changing tyre over.
I told him not to bother as car was bought from local garage which they replaced.
Then I did my research to find the 225 alloys where prone to cracking. Wheels are 19". So have now decided to take the rft's off and replace, my question is though how many people have non rft's with 225 wheels and are problem free.
I know 19" wheels with low profile tyres is not the best.
