The steering is more direct and the car crashes and bangs less over our pot holed roads. It is still quite a stiff ride. I ensured that OE bushes were fitted instead of upgraded powerflex to have the 'magic carpet ' effect of a standard rubber item which I think was a good choice. All upgrades, advice and project managing was done by Neil Yates and his team at Rally Prep in St Column Major Cornwall. First class!!

Cheers bud thats helpful, i know of the place you mean, i saw they had a tent and some cars out this weekend just gone at the hill climb at watergate bay!
i i was recently thinking about going poly bushes when i do replace any worn items but think i'll stay with rubber, i don't like road noise.....
would you fit the birds again if you had your time over?

I would as I like the feedback and direct steering. The LSD is something else and if I was short on funds I'd do the LSD before the suspension mind. I'm glad you saw Rally Prep at Watergate. Neil is definitely worth a chat to as he specialises in rally development and he'll almost definitely have a greater experience including setup and camber adjustment. He advised me not to go to polybush. Neil is also licensed for the XHP gearbox software which transformed my auto box.
