Did this today. I removed the two drains on the radiator, and I unlocked the U hose on the thermostat (but did not decouple it), it did "leak" some more water. Did I miss something?
Overall I got approx. 1.2 Gallons out. And it indeed started to overflow again when filling after apprx. 1.2 gallons.
Did I miss a drain bolt?
