I couldn't remember what we decided on this issue. Should pics be "recent" or "after" the challenge? I looked back at the several times we discussed this. I edited out the unrelated fluff and listed the quotes below so we don't have to look back again.

The real kicker is that Game Creator Youngnastyman and the game leaders all agree.

(In the interest of being fair, I left out the previous posts from both me and Pamidge.) I'm happy to defer to whatever the group decides:

I had ones I could've posted in the past that were already on my phone and I remember looking into this, although now I don't have the time to dig through the thread to find out where it was stated.

I'm with panicos - we can't set this sort of precedent!

I cannot go to Cyprus and check to see if Panicos was next to a garbage truck to see if he completed the challenge for the game, so I believe he completed the challenge based on the picture.

This game is current, using old photos that we have stored defeat the whole intent of the game - to go out and complete what someone has challenged you to do.

Photo to be taken after challenge is posted. This is the point of this game - to go and complete the challenge that someone posted to complete. Why would I challenge someone to do something if it is already done, and the photo is posted in seconds?

If someone challenges you to do something, and you give someone a photo and say "here ya go I win" the challenge is not won, as the past is not the same as the present. Same reason a bank will not cash a check that is dated a day later than you bring it in....

We can start doing Christmas challenges now if there are recent photos stored on a hard drive to back it up..

As an option for challenges that I post going forward, I may ask as part of the challenge completion that the photo must be taken beyond a certain date with proof - probably not, pain in ass....

Again, the fun part of this game for me is doing the challenge, the photo is just the proof since we all cannot be there to see it happen.

IMO, i feel the pics should be taken after the challenge, its more competitive and fair that way.

One of my challenges I stated a "recent mod/mod purchase within the last 30 days" But the picture was taken after the challenge was posted.

Recent- should be "taken after the challenge is posted" is how I see it.

But what I meant on the OP by "recent" is that it must be taken as an attempt to meet the challenge. Simply having a picture that meets the challenge in your endless stock of pics (which many of us have) is not fair to others and is not acceptable.
