I recently just got laid off about a month ago and I am desperately looking to find a new position. I saw this day was coming about four months back when they asked me to moved to IL and I refused. I have been looking for a new positions every since, which I got few leads from but did not go anywhere.

I have obtained my BS Degree in Chemical Engineering from Virginia Commonwealth University and worked at a petrolatum additive company for the past four years until I was laid off this past January. My responsibilities at this company included managing of multiple projects in different areas such as synthesizing new chemicals, setting up new labs, developing efficient test methods, and also working closely with sales and marketing to launch new product lines. I am also an inventor of one of their fuel additive products which I have a patent under. I am open to new challenges and willing to work in different positions beyond Chemical Engineering.
