That's another thing.

They should just introduce a system like clifford callguard or blackjax.

With blackjax you need to enter a 4 digit code every time you drive away and with callguard you get texted whenever the alarm actions. You can then respond to the texts with messages either shut down, siren, start or stop engine. etc.

Had it on my peugeot was a superb solution. Wherever I was if my alarm tripped I knew about it straight away. Had a massive audio install in that car (8-10k) so was worth it's weight in gold for the peace of mind.

But now the manufacturers think they know better than the professional alarm agencies and make it more or less impossible to improve the security with aftermarket systems.
