Thanks for the tip, but I like the dot raised just a bit! It might be bad technique or whatever, but without the dot my cheek really takes a pounding while slug spitting. If I shoot more than a dozen or so 3" magnum slugs I'll develop a bruise on my cheek. The dot gets my head up just enough to where my face doesn't take a pounding from the recoil. ;P
