Just bought one. The new 27" iMac (Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06 Ghz, 2560 x 1440 resolution, 4GB Ram, new Snow Leopard OS, 1TB Hard drive) + iWork. The picture is absolutely stunning, so is the machine itself. The mouse is an ergonomic dream!
I think my son will be absolutely delighted with it and hopefully will provide him with many years of computing! I just need to extract the money from him now ! I may well get a Mac Laptop when it comes to replacing my Acer in a couple of years time, if I like them.
I now need to try and sell his current Quad Core PC + 22" TFT. Will probably give eBay a go and if I get £200-£300 that would be great to slightly offset the cost!
