Sunoco 93 Gas

OK, so BMW recomends "top tier gas" , found here:

http://www.toptiergas.com/

Now my question is, I live in PA and don't have access to many of these stations. Many of PA gas stations are maw/paw shops or large retailers.

I also don't have the option of using ethonal-free gas, as there are no stations close to me (over 100 miles away) from pure-gas.org

The station I go to is Sunoco and I use 93 octane.

Now, Sunoco is NOT listed as a "top-tier" gas.. but Sunoco CANADA is?!?

What gives? Canada's sunoco gas is better than US?

I want to be putting the proper gas into my car (to avoid using fuel additiives as much as possible) but there are really not stations around me that are better. I would figure 93 octane is good for my car, but what about united states Sunoco 93? ... that isn't "good enough" ?
