I was under the impression it was always powered but shuts off like my dash cam does. I just sat in the car and my phone connected to the box without the car on.
I am going to buy another add a circuit and switch the box to switched power.
Update: Taped fuse 2 which is switched 5 AMP to the hesd unit. The phone connects in 2 seconds once the car is on. I will update the DIY. |
