The problem is the pins of wires who comes from the mic that are too shorts.
Please try to push the pins directly to socket and should be work without problem. If works, change the pins with another 2 little longer who "dress" 100% the pins of HU and insert it finally in the white socket (see picture).
I solved the problem in few minutes. No coding is necessary for this!

Can you tell me the part number on your head unit/radio? Then I can be sure it's the same pin position
