Yes I think tape should be ok to cover that valve line, just to keep dirt/dust/moisture out of the valve mechanism. The only worry is heat from the exaust affecting tape. I may replace the duct tape I used with high-temp tape later on... |
haha, yeah i just did the golf tee mod too. VERY VERY easy!!! those pics were taken like 10 minutes ago. But yeah definitely hear a difference. Im just going to keep checking the tape every now and then to see how it holds up.
