The bulb in question just crumbled when I tried to remove and as far as I can tell it seemed soldered.Tried not moving the other bulb as not wanting to break the contact.I can't seem to locate the bulbs anywhere.They are PH16w 8B25GG.
It's like the bulb is in a black enclosure and you can remove but I'm sure the pins go through and are soldered..
I'm a bit stuck as to what to do next..

Just saw this and was in the same pickle you were in. If one bulb goes out you have to replace the whole piece. look here
