I had the same problem with my '10 335i. 56000 miles.
When the temperature dropped last september, the idle was rough at cold start, getting even more rough days after days to the point where my wife was scared to drive the car...
First trip to the dealer, they suggested an air intake clean which I did and paid. ($530)
That didn't completely fixed the issue, they changed also the 6 plugs + one injector. BMW took care of that cost, even being out of warranty (i don't have CPO).
Got my car back, it was running ok. After 2 days of cold start, the rough idle came back, in addition to the CEL turning on during hard acceleration.
I brought the car back to the dealer. They kept it for 2 weeks and changed the remaining 5 injectors, still covered by BMW.
Now, no more idle problem. The car runs great.
I think it's crazy that the injectors have to be changed at 50k. Is it the quality of gasoline we put in there ? I am wandering if in Europe they have the same problems.
