There's a DIY thread on here somewhere that gives you a detailed maintenance plan and the products used. I've used it once a year for 6 years now and haven't had any problems at all. The only problem I've had was the outside temp sensor failing and showing -40oC on the dash temp gauge, this stopped the roof opening as the car actually thought it was -40, a pain to diagnose but a 10 min, £10 fix. Buy a Smartop module and you have the capability to open/close the roof via the keyfob, it's a brilliant little bit of kit and easily installed.
