How bad of an investment is it to get involved in a 175k+ 335i? Coming from the N52 09' 328i, I actually haven't had any issues other than the water pump and thermostat which seems like a common fault. However, I've been longing for a 335i, and I finally found one for a pretty unbelievable price. It's a 2010 335i 6-Speed, un moded and extremely clean and it's being sold at a BMW dealership. However, it appears to be closing in on 175,000 miles. Would this thing just have issue after issue up until catastrophic failure around 200k or do some of you think that if it was meticulously maintained through its 100k mile life that it might actually be a good car?
