To be honest.. I cleaned the old MAF thoroughly multiple times and the issue did not get resolved.

The new MAF that I just put in today is filthy and is working perfectly.. Going to clean it off as well when I get a chance.

I don't think the MAF position was ever the issue on my car. When I first installed it it ran perfectly until I messed around with the MAF.. now with the new MAF it is perfect again.


Also, raising the MAF by .5 inches isn't going to stop the filter from dirtying it FYI.. over-oiled filters will still leak oil onto the raised MAF. because it will still be within the intake tube.. just slightly higher.
