I live in Vancouver, which is the EV Capital of North America and has been for 2 years.
Teslas especially and every other EV Brand are everywhere. https://www.langaravoice.ca/b-c-lead...electric-cars/ When I ask people I know why they bought a Tesla, I get the normal, quiet, cheap to operate, good tech. When I ask the question how was the buying experience the cheering starts. No salesperson, I just ordered it online. They just took me out to a demo car and said enjoy your drive, The Tesla staff person didn't come with us. The price is the price, no haggling. I was treated as a valued client (I hear that from all my pal's wives) When you consider Elon's limited social skills it becomes clear that he was the only person who could ever change the car buying experience. He would have struggled more than most with the tradional car buying horror show we all experience. He just decided people would be buying his cars differently. |

Elon has 11 or 12 children. I'm going with he has decent social skills. Just sayin'.

A manual transmission can be set to "comfort", "sport", and "track" modes simply by the technique and speed at which you shift it; it doesn't need "modes", modes are for manumatics that try to behave like a real 3-pedal manual transmission. If you can money-shift it, it's a manual transmission. "Yeah, but NO ONE puts an automatic trans shift knob on a manual transmission."
