Lightbulb Digital instrumentation cluster on older BMW

Hi Folks,

I came across this forum topic for retrofitting digital cluster instrumentation (found on F15 X6) on an X5

http://f15.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho....php?t=1039855

I am interested to know if anyone has been able to retrofit the new digital BMW instrumentation cluster on an older BMW like an E90.

Please share any knowledge/experience if you have come across.

Thanks!

Not doable for so many reasons, at least not for a sensible cost.
