New to Mtech E92 front:)
Finally installed Mtech Front. Did it myself so was kind of fun.
Installation: Pretty easy but may not have done everything correctly. I didn't replace the fender liner or the brake, oil, air ducts. I just kept the ones from before in as it seemed to be easier and fit better. Also, I used lower grills that did not have a backing for the lower grills for both fogs. I don't know if the euro cars have the oil coolers on the other side, (This is a euro mtech) but the fog on the passenger side had a solid backing covering the oil cooler duct. Or maybe I am wrong and it should be covered. So just in case, I used the backing that was open for both sides. If anyone knows if my installation sounds wrong and I should redo it let me know ![]() Pros: looks much better, like the larger lower grill, and now I don't have the front plate in the way that the dealer put on my oem bumper. and looks much better ![]() Cons: should have remembered to put my old headlight washer covers on the bumper before having it painted. now I notice a slight off shade between the two. my fault. I will try to post more pics later. Just a quick one for now. Thanks for any input Last edited by harlequin314; 07-30-2009 at 09:48 PM.. Reason: pics |

glad to hear your install went well. Looks really good. Get closer pics of the fogs, so I can see what you are talking about. Euro Mtech FTW!!

thanks
thanks, will take better pics after a much needed wash.
got from a vendor who had ordered the euro who went another way with his car. I had a shop paint it free because they were doing me a favor, but I'd say anywhere from $150-$300? |
