Who here has tried both major piggybacks?
Simply put I'd like to know who has owned BOTH of the latest revisions of the JB3 and Procede.
I don't care which you like better, of if you owned a procede rev I and a JB1 or 2, etc... Latest versions only. Simple poll.. |

sure, as long as they were both the latest versions, JB3 or Procede Rev II canbus... Although you really wouldnt have much input on the fine tuning and update process.

Tried both and felt that "one" is better then the "other" back at that time, not sure now.

You should've broken down the first answer choice into two - JB3 better or PROcede better. That would make this poll more interesting...

I mean really....is this poll going to change your mind, just buy the tune and try it out, if you don't like it, the resale value is very high right now, so you can sell it back if you are not happy with it...Having a poll is not going to sway your decision, which I think is already made based on your problems that you experienced with the tune that you have, so stop wasting your time and just do it like the NIKE commercial!

I've owned one since it's inception. I have driven in many versions of the other. Unfortunately, this is like asking someone which brand of jeans they like better. There is no answer, only opinions. So your gonna have to try them on yourself and make your own decision. Polls/threads like this only lead to more BS. You've tried one already, so you've only got one to go. GL

Oh I think this poll is proving my point nicely actually...
Most havent tried both... Those who have, found one to be superior.. I am in the process of testing both. I will be giving an honest review of which one I think is better and why very soon. This poll wasnt to start a flame war, fuel the tuner war (which I think drives the tuners to make better tunes just like the Audi S4 vs 335i debate) or sway my own opinion. It was to see just what kind of numbers have tried both. Of those who tried both, did the user find a preference.... So far the answer is an overwhelming yes.. However most have NOT tried both. Had I wanted to start yet another controversial thread I would have said which did you think was better, JB3 or Procede. Anyone here is welcome to start that poll on their own.. I however have somethiong much more constructive and informative than that in mind. I am in the process of testing both.. Both are in beta... I'm not a politician. I dont need a poll containing somone else's opinion to find my own... This is simple research for something I am writing. Stay tuned. |

On another note, did you figure out the problem with your JB3? Last I read BMS suggested you send it in to check for a hardware/wiring harness issue. I recently helped another customer who also purchased a used JB3 off the forums, and it was missing some wires all together! LOL Mike Last edited by Mike@N54Tuning.com; 09-11-2009 at 01:13 PM.. |

Mike- we put my JB3 in a buddy's car - a 2007. It ran fan. He currently has an SSTT or whatever that thing is, but his lease is almost up.
roro - hard data will be forthcoming, but due to agreements with the tuners, I will not post any logs, etc on public forums. snapshots, maybe but I need to learn how to use a graph making tool first. |

My JB3 is not broken. I'll be more than happy to send it to terry to have it checked. But its working fine in a 2007 6AT car. I think the issue is with me, my car, and how I drive it and the fact that it is a 6M, and some things may be different with the 2009.5 software. The lateste beta map I tested in it did knock the oscillation back alot, but it was still present, and in the logs. Honestly dude, you wear me out. Do you just not listen, or are you so hell bent on being a salesmen that you just don't care? Please stop trying to cloud the issue, and take what is said as valuable information, or constructive criticism, instead of an affront to the product you sell. Are you so worried that I will post a positive review of the procede that you need to say Im testing it against a broken box? Please dont say things that arent FACT... Ask yourself this , is it a FACT that my JB3 had/has a hardware issue.. Can you say this as a FACT? Ugh |

Personally man, I think you should have waited until both tunes are in their official releases, then compare. Just my 02.
