Conversion to I drive

Hello there,

Does anybody know if you can change a non I drive car to a I drive one and what are the parts needed to do this conversion.

I bought a used car without it and would really like to have I drive with navigation. I have a proffessional radio with bluetooth currently.

Thanks in advance people

Theres a guy on this forum who did it. The long and short of it is that the parts alone are pretty close to what you'd pay for the factory option. (Obvioiusly you need to replace the whole dash, trim, etc..) The labor was very intensive and took him quite a long time. My advice would be to go with an after market Nav unit.

You need to search these forums -its all here.

The i-drive retrofit link is here:
http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=131416

Look near the end and there is a PDF file on what you need and how to do it. Most people should just buy another car...
