You should take the JB off before you go in for any service because if they find it they will probably try and void it.

Anything you do to your car/modding that is not BMW approved, can and will void warranty.

Interesting that the SSTT is still $600 I sold mine for around $250 I think, then I got JB3.

OMG this shit again!?!!?!? !!! Yes it will void your damn warranty! No, in my opinion the SSTT isn't that much safe. It's just a boost controller rather than a full turbo tuner. The only reason you would think its safer is because you boost lower than other tunes. |

Go for the Procede V3 RevII PNP or even JB3 V1.2 PNP and just remove it before you go into service

If OP has the v32, no one knows yet if the latest piggy backs have diagnostic invisibility or not. Well until their manufacturers enlighten us. With all older tunes I'd suspect warranty will be voided. They were never intended for use with the latest software as they were made long before this came out. Sorry we have to wait word from the horses' own mouths now.

I would go with a 29.2 safe tune like procede rev2 or jb3 because of their diagnostic invisibility. I think jb2 should be safe though. I would ask terry to confirm. If yer concerned about longevity both tunes have low boost maps.

because guys want to tune their cars but are afraid of losing warranty. everyone knows you should take it off before going in for service, but not everyone knows which tunes will leave imprints in your ecu for bmw to find.
