Commercial Car Wash

New BMW electric car. Can it be taken to a commercial car wash? My husband says no and I say why not. Please inform. Thanks!

I do not own a EV but I was about to drive into my local car wash and aTesla was ahead me. The vehicle got stuck in the car wash because it had some function that continually put the car in Park and the new driver did not know how to deactivate it. Luckily I didn't drove in behind. Something to ponder for EV owners
