Top hifi custom under seat woofer

I’ve been looking into making my own under seat woofers for my top hifi system by using Dayton Audio RS225-4 8” woofers and am wondering if anyone has ever done this before. I will have to make a adapter plate and obviously run off a separate amp. Does anyone see any issues with this? Will it work? I will be modifying the current enclosure and everything just making a adapter to allow the woofer to bolt in and it will need to be around 10mm higher to fit the woofer
