E92 335i All Weather Tire Help
I currently have an order in place for a 08 335i coupe, but will change it to a 335xi if it is launched with the introduction of the 08's. I have a few questions about the best tire/wheel setup for both Chicago winters and summers. I see that the car comes with the Style 185 wheels, and all season tires. However, I would like the car to be equipped with Style 189, but have read that these tires are NOT acceptable for driving in any kind of snow. My dealer quoted around 5,000 for tires and 189 wheels, so I could change them to that in the summer time, but that amount seems quite high. What are my options, does anyone make an all season tires for the the 189 wheels that work well, and are from a reputable source? I see that being the best option, and if not, is there a place that can do wheels (189) and tires for cheaper than the 5 grand the dealer quoted?
Thanks for the help |
