DIS or INPA can do it e.g:

- Sh+F9 E90
- Transmission
- Gearbox Control module GS19
- F6 Activate
- F3 Reset adaption values

I've heard of a procedure involving doing things sequentially in when sat in the drivers seat but am not convinced re this method.

I'd imagine a full ISTA-P reflash/upgrade is another way to reset adaption values to default.

Software version - again INPA can tell you in the UIF section.
