Comfortable M3 conversion for 335i?
The M3 suspension has less flex and in case of fair road quality M3 suspension with Koni Yellows at their softest settings is great.
However, we have here some very crappy historic stone roads, literally consisting of stones, for which I'd prefer something more comfortable. What should I do? I've figured I need to either give up the M3 rear lower camber link to be able to go with Koni FSDs and Swift springs with not too high spring rates, or alternatively revalve the Koni yellows to be softer than what they are stock. Which alternative would be better? I don't track the car, and I don't see myself using the adjustments of the yellows at all. I'm worried that revalving yellows to be as soft as FSDs at low speeds, they don't work well at higher speeds not having the parallel oil flow valve that the FSD dampers have. Of course the M3 rear lower camber link is slightly better than 335i version, but I don't think it makes a big difference. So, all in all, I believe FSD would work better for this purpose. |

I don't think you can do koni Fsds with Swift springs. Most likely have to go with H&R sport or Eibach.
