Alloy Wheel Repair Kits
hey,
I have scuffed/kerbed on of my front factory fitted alloys for my E90 and although its not big enough to get it done professionally i was looking into getting one of these kits? Has anyone used these kits either found on ebay or has any recommendations in terms of getting a good colour match. thanks |

Oi
I've not bought a kit, but have repaired my alloys a few times. I bought a metal based filler, primer and spray paint, all separately. |

I got one form eBay and it was a waste of time really. You'd be better off paying the £50 one of the smart repair companies charge.

smart repairs, local repairs, at home repairs are all IMVHO a waste of time. They don't last.
£50-£60 gets you a proper tyre off, repaint, bake in the oven refurbishment and (after plenty of disappointment) is the only proper way to get a lasting finish. |
