Sorry to hear that. When did it reach the port?
Mine completed production on 10/30, and is currently on its way (on vessel "Frisia", departed Bremerhaven on 11/7).

I ordered on the 24th and car finished production on the 1st, so I guess I had my hopes up too much. My CA said I should get the car mid Dec. I just need to chill....

Yep, same thing here (missed the ship that was docked). You might be behind some other cars; just b/c your car is done, doesn't mean you get the first vessel in port.
In fact, if i remember correctly, you still have to be placed on a train and shipped to the docks (although i could be wrong). If it makes you feel better, at least you're on the east coast...much quicker than us west coasters. =)

This is my second bimmer. I had to wait only 3 weeks for my 325i back in '05 because it was not custom ordered. I'm looking at 7-8 weeks now.
My only hope is that it might've made it on the ship on Friday, and website is not real time. I'll be giving my CA a call next week.

I'm in the same position as you man. My car finished production on 10/30 and got to the port on 11/5. Missed the 11/7 boat and now I gotta wait till 11/13 for the next NYK boat. Sucks for us west coasters! :sad0147:
