e92 328xi - 12,000 miles, $17,900??

Just found this on cars.com for a dealer in CT. The listing says it needs motor work, but wouldn't that be covered under the factory warranty?

link

Checked their webpage and all their cars seem underpriced. You guys think they're legit?

I would bet its not under warranty... hence why it needs motor work, lol

There's absolutely no way they are letting it go at that price if it's fixable, especially if BMWNA would pickup the tab. Notes as to why it's not to be fixed under warranty are probablye in the notes for the car, which every dealer can access. Unless you know an independent mechanic very well or intend on fixing it yourself, stay far away. Either will cost you.

I see. I wasn't looking to buy it, but was curious. "If it looks too good to be true..."

side note... if you're in the market for a CPO 328i, I bet you could scoop up that $28k AW coupe at BMW Norwood for around $24k.

It's a 328.. .. .. What could be wrong with it? And why wouldn't it have a warranty?

328i AW, sport, saddle leather, etc...

I called it, price drop from $29.9, to $28.8... now at $26.8!

Wonder what could have been done to it that a 328 no longer has a warranty. Also, I don't know if it's just me but the drivers seat looks like it has ridiculous wear for only 12000 miles!

I called the seller and he said the vehicle had water damage because of a flood. It is a salvage vehicle, so I think that is why it does not have BMW warranty. Besides mechanical problems, I think the vehicle should have electrical problems when it is in a flood.

I think it would help to have a full diagnosis prior to purchasing the vehicle. BMW would be the best place to have the diagnosis done at, but not sure how much they would charge you. I would not pay over 10k for this.
