Pirelli runflat snows vs blizzaks?

Hey are these just about the same thing or are the blizzaks better? In the middle of chosing a used set of wheels with tires. Blizzaks are non RF

I ran a set of Sottzero on my 335i but prefer the Blizzaks or Conti winter contacts.

Sottozero 3 are amazing on dry roads and great in snow but are not run flats. I would take those over blizzak any day but if you want run flat the sottozero 2 snow performance is slightly less

What size tires? Then I can see which specific models that you're referring to in those lines.

I run the sottozero II here on the west coast and they work great for cold wet weather but not the best in deeper snow or really bad ice.

If you live in an area that gets a lot of snow I would run the Blizzaks, I ran the WS70's for the past two years (same set of tires) and they performed amazing, and we had a couple of pretty good snows and ice storms.

I see that you found a set. Good for you!
I wanted to add something for people that may search this later.
Blizzaks vs Conties. Both SSR tires with BMW star rating. Even though the Conties on my 335i are a year or 2 older than the Blizzaks on my wife's car they are considerably quieter than the Blizzaks on my wife's car. Both cars are running 225 45 17s if you are wondering.

They're considerably quiter? Well, im leaning towards the blizzaks for performance. I just hear blizzak here blizzak there. Lol they must be better then the rest. I really dont mind the noise, i just need something that works. Thanks for your reply.

yes, driving the wife's car and then mine you can hear a big difference. The tires are amazing though in the snow.
