Hey guys
Always wanted to start a build thread with one of my cars and since Socket convinced to just do one so I thought I might as well. I bought my e92 335i M-sport in November 2013 and been loving it since. Was completely stock and started modding from day one. I have had a few ups and downs (mostly downs) but still doesn't change how I feel about the car. Previous cars were: 03 Audi A4 2.0 (POS) 98 BMW e36 318iS M sport 99 BMW e39 540i M sport 03 BMW e46 325Ci M sport Individual 08 BMW e92 335i M sport Day 1 Now MODS EXTERIOR: -20" Gunmetal grey VMR v710 (old) -19" F10 M5 reps (old) -19" GTC AFF-1 (old) -19" HRE FF01 reps (current) -M3 Front bumper with fog delete -Genuine M3 ducts -M3 Fenders with custom 335i badges -Gloss black m3 fender grille trim -M3 Hood -M3 Rear bumper -M3 Mirrors -Gloss black grilles -Cyba scroops -Custom Magnaflow mufflers with quad tips -Depo LCI tail lights (old) -Genuine LCI tail lights (current) -MTEC LED angel eyes -BMW Performance style high kick rear lip spoiler -Carbon fiber badges -Carbon fibre wheel emblems -Carbon fibre mirror covers INTERIOR: -CIC with USB in glovebox retrofit -M3 gauge cluster -M3 steering wheel -Carbon fiber wrapped trim (old) -M3 Carbon leather interior trim (current) -BMW Performance shift knob with boot (old) -M3 DCT shift knob retrofit (current) -BMW Performance e-brake with boot -BMW Performance pedals -M3 centre console trim in novillo leather -M3 rear ashtray/vents in novillo leather -LCI Cupholder covers -LCI Light switch -LCI start switch with IND blue start button -Front ashtray delete (replaced with storage compartment) -Custom floor mats with M colour stitching ENGINE: -JB4 G5 (old) -JB4 rev3 connect kit bluetooth receiver with JB4 iOS app (old) -MHD Stage 2+ (current) -BMS DCI (old) -aFe Momentum GT cold air intake (current) -VTT v2 Inlets -ER Competition intercooler -RB PCV valve -ER carbon fibre engine cover -BMS cabin filters (old) -VRSF chargepipe with HKS BOV -AR Design catless downpipes -Stett vacuum canisters -BMS oil catch can -M3 cowl -Alpina transmission flash SUSPENSION/BRAKES: -H&R Race springs (old) -ST-X coilovers (current) -Dinan camber plates -Brake calipers painted red -Nolathane 49202 subframe bushes -R1 Concepts drilled/slotted brake rotors -ATE super blue racing brake fluid -Akebono brake pads MAINTENANCE: -New motor (piston failure) -New turbos -HPFP x2 -Bosch coil packs x6 -Bosch spark plugs (old) -NGK 95770 iridium gappable spark plugs (current) -Radiator + top hose -Water pump -Thermostat -Fuel filter with pressure regulator -Boost solenoids (30FF) -Vacuum Canister lines (30FE) -Drive belt + pulley -Varta battery (old) -Bosch S5 battery (current) -Bank 1 pre-cat o2 sensor (2C3F) -Fuel low pressure sensor with inlet pipe (29F3) -Front strut mount bearings -Left rear drive shaft and hub with new wheel bearing and wheel speed sensor (ABS DSC faults) FUTURE MODS: -AD engineering low temp oil thermostat (have this) -Index -12 (or newer) injectors -Evolution Racewerks s.s brake lines -M3 strut tower brace (have this) -M3 red leather seats -FUEL-IT stage 2 LPFP -Combox -Motorsport Hardware studs and race nuts conversion -Manual conversion -Respray whole car in 'Imola red metallic' -VTT turbos -LSD Last edited by NeT335; 05-11-2018 at 02:02 AM.. |

Need more pics of your e92 ! I can see a lot of $ and tasteful mods on the 335i, definitely has turned out extremely nice. Looking forward to seeing the future mods.
I love your old e39 540, one of my favourite BMWs! Keep the updates coming |

That E39 540i looks great, I wouldn't mind one of those as a daily driver...
Your E92 looks fantastic dude! Did you source front fenders and hood from eurodivision? Is your hood cf or metal? How come you're changing the m3 rep ducts to oem items? |

540 was really nice. had balls and was a total sleeper fenders and hood are from mars, and hood is metal the oem ducts sit more flush around the opening as the ones i have now have like a lip around the edges and they dont look right |

Ahh I asked jason and he said they were metal, which I would prefer as I believe when cf is painted you can still kinda see the weave in the cf... Ahh OK I have a set of oem M3 ducts, and noticed the E92 m3 rep bar are coming with ducts i thought they would save a lot of hacking on making the oem m3 items fit |

Picked up the car with the mind of babying it for the rest of its life from then on...
First thing I did when I got it back was order the BMS oil catch can with hope that it will prevent anything else major happening with the car -BMS oil catch can Then thought to myself I might aswell have fun with it now just incase something big does happen again Went over to active to have the occ installed and while I was there I ended up getting JB4, DCIs and BMS cowl filters fitted at the same time MORE TO COME TOMORROW GUYS Trying to do everything in the order it all happened |

Only thing I noticed back then was a clanking sound the car made since I bought it but I used to think it was just a really bad rattle issue... Then while I was driving engine light came up and the clanking sound got worse, louder and faster with acceleration
