Broken??.

Hi,

Got in to car today and the i-drive knob just spins, don't do anything on the
screen, fitted a handsfree car kit for the phone, and it seemed to stop after
we fitted it, but could just be one of those things.

Spoke to BMW and the girl knew what I was talking about.

Anyone got any ideas??.

e90 Navigator broke "help"

Gents,
The Navi is acting up and I don’t know what to do; pls help!
Start up the car only see the "BMW" screen turn on then stay on for a long time before turn it self off and back on again... Would this cause the bad HD?
Where is HD locating? I can not listen to the cd, radio or use the Bluetooth or any in the matter. Does anyone have this problem? Any help will be appreciated...

Thanks!

Well finally got the car into the dealer, they did the diagnostic check and
then told me that `Fuse 13, had blown?'.

I picked the car up only to find that they had replaced the fuse with another
from the fusebox so the PDC didn't work?? . I replace that fuse and
all is ok, when I looked on the fusebox diagram there is NO sign of anything
to do with fuse 13??.

Just got to have another look in there again, seems that the Heated Rear Window has done the off now.. Why is it so difficult to get to the fuses??,
fine is your a dwarf..

Well, the car is back in the stealer again.

I took it in for the Heated Rear Window not working, and the IDrive
display taking about 10-15 seconds to work.
I have had a call today saying that there is a lead from the battery and
the main computer, saying that the battery is under powered, but it's not
ans the lead tells the computer that there isn't enough power, so it turns
the screen off until the car is generating enough power, and the heated
rear window is being switched off due to the same fault??.

New lead going in tomorrow, so we will see what happens.

The dealer changed the IBS Lead (Intelligent Battery Sensor), and all seems
to be back to normal.

They thought it was the Phone Kit, but it wasn't.

They had it 3 days and I had a Mini (very impressed), missed the power of mine.
