Low coolant light - broken sensor wire

I got a low coolant light, but the level is spot on. I noticed that the coolant level sensor at the bottom of the expansion tank had broken off from its wire. How do I fix this? I saw for some engines they sell a repair kit but couldn’t find the equivalent for my car.

Is it just something like this?

And what tools do I need to do this? Recommended terminal remover and open barrel crimper?
