![]() my lease was up on my 07 z4si and because of leg problems getting in and out became a problem. So the only thing I found I liked was a 2009 new 328i convertible....I not used to driving such a big car. I guess I always be a roadster addict at heart since my first car was a 62 MGA MKII and I progressed from their always with a two seater and convertable. I am so used to driving at hight speeds here in CA...the fast lane changes never phased the z....however on the 328i if I change lane to fast.....its all over the place and I am fighting the wheel to straighten the car out. Is there any modes or something I can do to make it a little more stable? Thanks for you help! |

My e90 feels pretty damn stable when changing lanes. High speeds, low speeds, ridiculously high speeds, whenever. Any smooth lane change should feel fine in the car. Sounds like your jerking the wheel.

Maybe get your alignment checked? Or maybe you're just used to the Z4's handling...
And are we talking about just lane changes at high speeds or do your lane changes resemble magazine handling tests?

Sounds like you need to be smoother with your input. Fast and smooth is want you want. Sudden and jerky is not the same as fast.
