How long does your Comfort Access battery last?

I'm going to pick up a fresh set today, and I'm wondering how long the comfort access batteries have lasted you guys.

You can get them at any drug store

They are only 3 bucks . My guess would be 3 years until they get a little weak.
Probably 5 years to go dead.

I don't know why, I got my CA battery replaced from the BMW dealer, then the CA worked perfectly for few days.
After few days, it started to being not sensitive as before...
I hate pulling the door handle on the street but the door doesn't unlock, that make me look like an idiot....So, I just gave up, use my key every time....

Really?
So after you replace your battery by yourself, it works perfectly?
Where do you guys get the battery??

Its a CR2032 watch battery. You can find them just about anywhere that sells watches.

Mine lasted about 3.5 years and I just bought a new one from radio shack for about $5. No issues so far.

I dunno why but 2-3 years is about right. But once I put in a new battery prior to dropping off my car, and when I got it back, it had a low batt icon. I've learned with BMW, don't question everything that goes wrong with it, so just keep a tupac of 2032's on hand and if your CA acts up, just replace the fob batt.

Have had car for 4.5 years and I have replaced battery twice, so 2-3 years sounds about right

Had both batteries replaced free by dealer after about 3 years under the 4-year free maintenance program.
