E9x base audio amp harnesses

Are there any alternative options besides technicpnp? Not sure if they’re out of stock or disco for my car right now. All they have is the underseat version.

What do you mean by base radio ? 676 is Hi Fi that is not the base radio
in most of the World. 676 Hi Fi has and amp the World Wide base radio does not.

A 2007 in the US has either Hi Fi 676 or Top Hi Fi 677 both of which have amps.
The no amp base system was present in the US from 2010 to 2011.5 as the no
pay for it option . All other years where 676 as the no pay for it option.

Your car is listed as a 2007 ?
See mdecoder.com to list your cars options

I contacted Technic and Base Stereo harnesses are discontinued.

I would also like an alternative, or even a wiring diagram showing how to build my own and connector part #'s. I'm fairly certain I know which pins he intercepted or passed-through.

No magic the parallel connection is either at the Underseat connector or the Door sills
depending on the year of the car. Above link can be used for a guide to this connection.

i meant the quad lock connectors needed to create a plug and play harness like Technic used to sell. I see a part # list for the Hifi versions. which may be what the OP has in his car, but not in my 9/09 build

i dug through the WDS, so I think I know which wires Technic connected straight through and which he intercepted to send back to the trunk, but haven't found any posts confirming my homework. or which wire he used to trigger the relay for the remote amp +12v signal.

yup, on my build its at the underseat subs. and one of your above connector links does detail the connector and pin p/n that can be used. i missed that thread. thanks!

the .pdf is great, but without the harness the install can't be duplicated. and most of the speakers everyone has used over the years in the various threads are discontinued. i realize were are talking about cars that haven't been made in over 10 years and not many people are still installing systems in these old cars. for example, i haven't found a dealer for Jehnerts that were oh no popular. and the Morel's may be the same but called something different...hard to tell. I contacted MusicarNW 5+ years ago, when he told me they no longer sold kits for Base systems...and Technic no longer does either. so basically i waited too long to focus on the stereo....life got in the way.

If you have the base system which has no amp an no wiring to the trunk there
is absolutely no reason to have that connector if you are using an aftermarket
amp. And there is no reason to use the stock OEM amp no matter which system you have
which again brings up the question which system do you have because you
never answered that as far as I can see.

With the base system you are going to have to run wires to any amp and back to the speakers. The technic harness is to take advantage of the fact that there is already wiring for the Hi Fi option 676 or the Top Hi Fi 677 or 688 which already have wiring
all the way to the trunk and it also provides a buffered turn on signal .

In the base system the technic harness is just extensions of wires that run to the trunk
for inputs and back to the speakers. there is no connector in the trunk in the base system harness from technicpnp for the base system.

Also you say nothing of what kind of system you want to build .
Which amps ?
how many channels?
Will you be replacing all the speakers?
Will you be adding tweeters?
Will you recode the head unit for Hi Fi output.

What does mdecoder.com say you have in the 6xx range.
Only 2010 to 2011.5 cars had the base radio in the US.
All 2007 cars had Hi Fi or Logic 7 in the united states.
That is not the base Radio
Only 2010 to 2011.5 cars had the base radio in the US.

https://technicpnp.com/product/hifi-harness/
If you have Hi Fi 676 is says at his site he has 23 units in stock.
No US e9x comes with the base system in 2007.
There is only one Hi Fi version or Logic 7 version.
Please clairfy which car you actually have by running Mdecoder
on the VIN you are making this way to hard.
How about you take some pictures of what's in the amp space in
your car and publish them here.

HiFi (676) harness

$75.00

HiFi Harness for E-Chassis models with 6ch OEM amps can be used directly with only balanced-inputs aftermarket amps. Example of direct aftermarket amp replacement for the OEM HiFi amp is the JL Audio XD600/6v2. Alpine PDX amps are balanced-inputs compatible as well.. Use “Y” RCA adapters (not included) for multiple balanced-inputs amps.

23 in stock
HiFi (676) harness quantity

YOU ARE NOT BEING CLEAR ENOUGH ABOUT WHAT IS ACTUALLY
IS IN YOUR CAR OR WHAT KIND OF SYSTEM YOU HAVE .
IF YOU HAVE AN 07 those only came with HI FI OR LOGIC 7 Systems.
AND YOU DON' T SAY THE EXACT SYSTEM YOU WANT TO ADD.
