The order process is the same as it would be for a normal key and the ID will be the next one in the row (from your original CAS)

I am very glad Ramez did it, it s an example that you don t need too much technical knowledge, only the will and time!

CA retrofit it s an easy one and worths any penny ☺️
Hello Dumitru,
This solution (i.e order a new key from bmw-mini-mania.com) can be applied to a bmw F10/F11 which has no CA from factory ?
Thank you in advance,
Regards

Also interested in a Cable harness. Maybe easier to make 2 at the same time vs 1.

Thanks.

That's horrific.

What's next, does it maybe want to drink beer with your buddies, scold your kids, and satisfy your wife for you??

F10 already has a CA key! No need other key, just need the hardware inside the car (antennas , handles)

F series it s totally different then E series. This thread it s about E series. Please don t mix them !

Good morning

I own the E92 M3 in Korea

I've really impressed you with your wires.

Comfort Access retrofit is in progress and supplies are in demand

But I want to know if you can get the Comfort Access Key and the Passive Go wiring

I'll wait for your reply

dumitru.o I respect you

is it possible to just swap the drivers side door handle to the comfort access door handle. Looking to keep the original passenger side handle without comfort access.

All parts are ready.
But I have a question.
What modules should be coded after VO322?

Enter VO and use expert mode to code to factory settings. Make sure to code the CA module you installed as well.

Don't need to code airbag, headlight or hvac modules.

Early on in this thread, the OP noted that he'd had changes made so that a VIN decoding check showed that the car had his retrofits installed.

I've retrofitted a bunch of things to my BM and would love to have them shown correctly on the VIN decoder, any thoughts as to how to achieve this please?

actually it is pretty simple to install. besides the door locks and door wiring, you only need two wires from the door plug to the fuse box (and two fuses of course). the system operates by itself as long as the fuse is good. the only tricky part is to install the motor inside the door because e9x don t have special place for this, so you will have to chose a place, drill a hole and screw the motor. i will share pictures of my doors

PS: my install was not "professional" , you can make it look much better then this

here is a diagram for e70, it should be the same thing for e9x. all you have to do is to install the two wires from the door plug to the fuse box (front side Begind glovebox)

So lets say I have a friend parting out his CA E90 (2007) and i would want to take his CA system and put it in my 2010 E92. What can i salvage out of his car? can i take the harness, Keys DME, CAS and code them to my vin so my idrive can still function? what would be the best way to go about this?
